So It Begins

Ha ha! Welcome, old chap! This is the Old Pompous Ass, himself, at your service! This column is devoted to what humors me most: my own thoughts as I wander the vast universe that we call Earth. I am funny; I am witty; I am everything you have ever wanted in a candy bar...and more!

I do not intend to keep up the staid act that I've opened up with. I am, however, still the Old Pompous Ass (although I am not technically 'old', merely 'middle aged') that finds nothing more humorous than the thoughts that come to my head and the words that sometimes make it out of that head as audible sounds. You may find those thoughts interesting or even humorous, yourself; that is your prerogative!

I anticipate that I will cover many different topics here - daily happenings, religion, politics, sports, odd items that I've found newsworthy, or where I'm at my best, commenting upon the words and actions of others, famous or infamous. Whatever the theme, I will do my best not to waste my time or your's.
